Description
<strong>When to use V-Calm?</strong>
V-Calm is particularly useful as an aid in the education of young horses. It helps to settle horses during their inevitable first exposure to transportation, shoeing, dentist or vet visits. It does not impair the horse’s ability to learn or it’s judgement. It is not a sedative and will not show a strong sedating action. Unlike sedating agents, V-Calm is safe to use, even if a horse is already excited.
<strong>How effective is V-Calm?</strong>
V-Calm is fast-acting and results can be seen within 30 minutes, although an hour may be required for maximum effect. V-Calm can be used on all horses and ponies, long-term or at times when calming is required. For maximum effect, feed 10-20ml for horses and 5-10ml for ponies, when required. Administration can be repeated every three hours if needed, but some horses respond better when given V-Calm regularly in morning and evening feeds.
<strong>What does V-Calm contain?</strong>
V-Calm contains only liquid extract of Valerian, so is therefore not suitable for use in competition.
